The Instructor Exam
(IE)
Having completed the IDC successfully your
almost there. The PADI Instructor Examinations are conducted
on Koh Tao by Examiners flown over from PADI Asia's HQ in
Australia. Scheduled over three calander days the traditional
schedule is as follows.Day 1
15.00 - Orientation
16.00 - Dive Theory Exams (90 mins)
17.30 - Standards and Procedures Exam (90 mins)
19.00 - Finish
Day 2
08.00 - Confined Water Presentations
11.00 - Lunch Break (2-3 hours)
14.00 - Knowledge Development Presentations
16.00 - Finish
Day 3
08.00 - Open Water Presentations
12.00 - Presentations
Location for all
land work is IDC Koh Tao @ Crystal Dive Resort.
Confined Water presentations are conducted at Sunset Buri
Hotel in Sairee Beach and Open Water presenations are
conducted at one of the local dive sites on the Westside
of Koh Tao.
